Multicell

Introduction

Multicell is a device for automatic research of heart cells. The hardware setup has 2 servo stages. One for XY and one for Z. A microscope and a high-speed camera (250 frames per second) are included as well.

What I did

I did some POCs controlling the servos (50 nm accuracy!) and image recognition used for autofocus and detecting the angle of cells.

What did I learn?

Embedded hardware is definitely not my game. Bad for my heart rate and blood pressure. Second.
