Ride on water

Introduction

In times of lockdowns and closed bars, it would be nice to still have a fresh water supply. rideonwater.com adds flavour to your routes by adding freely available water tap points.

What I did

• Implementing a PoC merging GPX track files with water tap points
• Converting the PoC into a webservice
• Creating a Dropzone.js plugin that renders a previews of GPX route before uploading
• Rendering GPX files on top of a static MapBox image
